No sooner had I completed my first working day at PLANWORX in October, the initial excitement had faded, than the next highlight of my conception traineeship was just around the corner: my first treibhaus module.

Now you’re probably asking yourself: “What is the greenhouse?” Good question, dear readers! Roughly speaking, at the “treibhaus – Agentur Campus für Kreativ Konzeption” you will gain a wide range of impressions for a dual entry into creative conception for communication in digital and real space. Or in agency-speak: “Money can’t buy experiences”.

Every year, this opportunity is offered to 15 young creatives who are given a glimpse behind the scenes of event marketing from a creative perspective in monthly workshop weekends at participating agencies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. PLANWORX is part of the treibhaus program for the second time and thus offers me the opportunity for further external training in addition to learning from everyday agency life.

This year, we at treibhaus are a diverse bunch with different backgrounds: From studied psychologists to trained actors to a journalist, it feels like we have all kinds of different life plans.

The treibhaus modules inspire with their great variety. “Confident appearance with complete cluelessness”, “Worldbuilding” or “How to Concept” are just a few examples – a huge range of content is covered here. As well as learning new skills, treibhaus is also a great place to have fun. Whether it’s going to the movies together – we recently saw the film “Raw” by French director Julia Ducournau, which in my opinion is an absolute must-watch movie -, having fun in the pub or attending the BrandEx Awards in January 2024: there are always new impressions. Will I be able to incorporate all this into concepts in a meaningful way?

For me, the treibhaus is a unique opportunity and an exciting journey that I am experiencing together with PLANWORX. Hopefully this journey will continue as well and as eventful as it began.
